The ships appear as small triangles on the map. You can zoom with a mouse or your fingers, and move the map wherever you like.
Hover over a ship to see its name. Click a ship to open a small information window with name, speed and course.
In that window you can choose Have this ship in center of screen. The map will follow the ship and keep it centered while it moves.
The map normally returns to regular viewing after a while. Use Freeze zoom if you want to follow a ship without losing the zoom level. Press it again to return to normal behavior.
The panel in the upper-left corner minimizes automatically after about one minute so the map is easier to see. You can also minimize it immediately with the button at the top of the panel.
